since the smallest size of tubing isulation is 3/8" wall thickness, it's gonna be very tight for my setup, but i saw that armacell makes an insulation tape

would there be an issue using this around my tubing?

It works well. Remember not to stretch it too thin or wrap too tightly. If it flattens out, it doesn't insulate nearly as well.

that's a given, as long as it works, now i gotta locate that sticky style tape for the actual PCB insulation

Home Depot, Carmacell TAP 18230, AP/Armaflex Insulation Tape, 30 Linear ft. roll, 1/8" thick, 2" wide, self-adhering.

Armaflex tape insulation is SUCH a rip off these days :( . Used to be so cheap...

If you wrap that round your suctionline... it would work, but when you come to taking it off it would leave a lot of residue on the tube and it's a sh1t to clean off.

the armaflex is a pain to get off of stuff but it does work really well, used it several times

some orange oil can remove the gunk, works wonders
