Ok, so I've had my computer running rock solid for around a year at 2.6Ghz on a 3800+ X2. Last night I was playing some World of Warcraft, and I kept hearing a fan speed up and slow down. I figured it might be my video card, so I opened ATiTool to check my temps. However, my computer froze when I tried to open it, and I noticed a red square on one screen and a red line on the other (I run a dual monitor setup). After that, I couldn't get my computer to boot back up. It was taking a LONG time to post, around 3-4 minutes each time. The first time it gave me a "Warning, CMOS settings in safe mode. Blah blah...", so I reverted back some some previous settings. One time I actually did almost get into Windows... after the Windows loading screen the screen remained blank though.
After trying to reboot several times, I went to bed out of frustration and figured I'd make a post in the morning. However, I'm on my computer right now. It didn't seem to have the same problem this morning.
Any ideas?
