Sound quality is OK but the poor fit they have reduces bass, the build quality is poor (i will put large amounts of money on some part of the headset / inline controller breaking within a year). The cups themselves are comfy and the felt nice and soft.

For the price though they are fantastic, they will improve your game a lot

Both are garbage. Get sennheiser HD555s or audiotechnica A500s.

The hd555s don't come with a Mic do they?

I owned a set of the Mesusa's and let me just tell your they are bloody awesome. When setup correctly, the Bass is so sound it makes the whole headset vibrate, and considering that the head set is pretty big, that's a pretty good feat.

They were very nice in games, the quality of the sound really draws you into your game, however I didn't really use the 5.1 as I didn't see it much of a difference during some of my games.

Sadly though, after a few months, the headset begin to slowly fall apart - The sound quality dropped if the wire leading into the Headset was in the wrong position. Then one of the things that you put over your ears (drivers?) broke away from my headset. I fashioned a quick fix with some Duct tape because I couldn't live without my headset despite having a rather nice set of 2.1 speakers.

This worked for about 3 weeks, and then the other side snapped off, and I had to send it back to the store I bought it from. I was quite rough with my headset, so that's what I (hope) caused my headset to screw up. They've replaced my headset and I have to go pick it up from the courier hopefully today, and I'm so excited.

Would I have bought another set if they refused to replace them? Hell yes, they are really just THAT good...

I say Screw these sennheiser fanboys and go with the medusas, you won't regret it, I don't
