ultra high res screen?

are there wuxga lcd destop screens for desktops like there are for laptops? ive look everywhere and all i could find is wsxga

yes there are. 1920x1200 is wuxga and if you look at newegg and others you should be able to find them.

All 24" panels are 1920x1200.

yes, but 24 on wuxga is just like a wsxga on 17 inch... pixel sizes are approximately the same but the screen is bigger. Are there equivalents to laptop screens but in lcd form for desktops?

I'm gonna have to say no then, again because all 24" LCD panels are 1920x1200.

I wouldn't want one anyway, because they all seem to be cheaper TN panels that are really picky about the angle you view them, much more than my 22".
