I can get a new small AC for $120 is there anyway of regulate my temps so I only run at 10-15C so I don't have to worry about condensation.
I can run at 3.8GHz at 15c easy probley even 4GHz, Im not after extreme cooling just want to run cooler 24/7.

Monitor the temp of the coolant and turn the a/c unit on and off as needed

just use the units thermostat, or take one out of a old fridge, or buy a digital controller from ebay. Many an option.

THX guys,
I will have to try it then, so do the coil in the liquid trick?
then use the units thermostat that would work set it at 55-60F think I would be ok with condensation if my house never gets above 72?

I don't think I would be safe I'd have to really keep an eye on it.
I was even thinking of taking a 5gal bucket dropping a rad in it and running cool water through it :)
Just a slow stream not to run my water bill up to much,LOL

Use a nice large res for the evap coil and use the thermostat from the AC to monitor the return coolant temp. This allows for longer cycle times and easier control temp.
Temps for an AC range from +17 to +21C So no condensation should be forming at that temp, with a fridge thermostat you can get from 2 to 4C which condensation can become a issue.

That's probably cause a lot of corrosion, Usforces.
Do an ebay search for refrigeration temperature controller, which you can find for about $20 shipped. It'll work just right for you.

this is probaly another noob question, but how do you hook up a temperature controller on your chiller setup to regulate temps..? like im guessing your going to have to connect the temperature sensor from the a/c to your controller???? im confused on how it kinda works

as long as the controller can handle the full compressor current you'd just need to wire the ac to the controller, it should have a diagram with it saying how it should be hooked up

learn up on controllers, this will be much more usefull for you in the long run.
