I am helping a friend with picking parts for a computer and he wants to do crossfire and an AM2 socket MB, I was thinking about the MSI K9A Platinum, but I dont see on the bios download page any updates that mention support for 65nm processors. Do you know if this board supports the Brisbanes or not? And if not what would you recommend, the ASUS M2R-32 MVP or the ECS KA3 MVP? The board will be used for overclocking, and the computer itself will be mostly a gaming computer.

Check the CPU support page

I haven't heard of any AM2 board not working with Brisbanes. AM2 boards will even support K10 CPUs (Agena, Kuma etc.).

Well the UltraII-M2 from DFI does not work with a Brisbane unless you update the bios. So I am assuming that not all AM2 motherboards work out of the box with Brisbane processors and I don't see 65nm support specifically mentioned on the MSI K9A info page so thats why I am asking if anyone knows for sure if it does.
