Now, I want to be able to cool a Quad @ 3.6ghz and a HD 2900XT

So lets say 500W to dissipate.

I was thinking two loops, one for CPU and one for GPU. However that means two pumps, but then they can be weaker pumps due to less resistance.

Two 120.2s with push/pull config fans? MCR220 any better!?

So what do you guys recommend?

Ill be building a radbox to go under my stacker so space isn't really a problem.

Cheers :)

any cash contraints?

if not get 2 pa120.2 or .3s since space isn't a concern...
pumps go d5s if you will, or simply get the best ddc with Petra's top
or get an iwaki RD30...
cpu blocks: the usual DTek Fuzion or Apogee GTX
gpu blocks: EK full cover(if he comes out with one) or Swiftech Stealth GPU when it comes out and if its compatible, or the usual GPU block with ton of ramsinks...

fans your choice really...

ya certainly don't need 2 loops for that. Unless you just want to.

If you did do 2 loops, you would do fine with the MCR's and would only need fans on one side each.

You'd have plenty of radiator left over for future cooling if you just got a pa 120.3 and ran a single loop with it. (not to mention enough money left over to buy water blocks or other components)
