Push/Pull Fan setup. Need shrouds?

Hello,

Laying out my wc system this weekend. Through threads here and there, I've been kind of sold on the shroud concept. I'm also a somewhat skeptical believer in the 2 fan push/pull model and was going to do it just cause I got a ton of 120mm, 120cfm fans

Got a pretty stout little rad. (1.75'x6'x5'). My little rig will be pretty taxed this summer in that, It and I are complete at the mercy of outdoor ambient temps. So, I'm trying to max out this rad as much as possible.

Problem is the rad +2 fans and 2 shrouds aren't fitting into my plan. If I skipped the shrouds everything fits fine, or I could skip one of the fans and its shroud and That would work to.

I'd like to use up some of my fans but to do so means no shrouds. so I guess the question is what would be best, fan/rad/fan or rad/ shroud/ fan.

Also, does anybody have any quantitative #'s as to exactly what sort of real world improvement shrouds make?

No numbers. But skip the shrouds. Fans on both sides would be so much better than fan on one side with shroud. That's my experience with Thermochills. Have more than 10 of them.
