i want a system for my room since my parents are going to be at work most of the summer, i want to blast that bass till everything falls off the walls....

anyway it doesnt have to be THAT loud

i have this from a long time ago: http://creative.com/products/product.asp?category=4&subcategory=26&product=446
and i really think its loud enough but a little bit louder couldnt hurt, the bass really sounds bad if i turn it way up, it seems like its giving in finally

i need something thats 5.1 and has good sound quality, 7.1 couldnt hurt but thats probably too expensive, my budget is $150...

i play css something but i think this summer ill be staying away from fps because i want to listen to music on my downtime from playing tennis and it is just way too bad for my nerves, im thinkin some rts or an mmo so i dont have to pay crazy attn to the sound i want to listen to my trance/house/techno :banana::banana::banana:....

i allready ordered some good headphones, finally decided on dt770 pros for when i dont want to hear my parents yelling at me when they get home..

anyway ive been looking at the p7800 set, is there anyhting wrong with it? i cant really find anything nice under 150

Good choice on the cans! All you need now is an amp to reveal the full potentials of the beyers (I have a pair too, and they sound MUCH better with an amp). Now, onto your speakers question. Do you REALLY need a 5.1 system? Or will a really good 2.1 system suffice?

5.1 is pref. i still want to play crysis when that comes out and i figure surround will help then, besides ill feel guilty if i go from 4.1 to 2.1

hmm, what amp would make them shine but is cheap? whats the best bang for buck amp?

Well then, I would think the Logitech X-530/540 5.1 system should float your boat. Ditto on the pricing in Russia though. Onto the amp! If you have the money, go for the RSA Hornet! As for bang-for-the-buck? Not so much, but it absolutely destroys almost all the amps (except for one) in it's price class. I would suggest the GoVibe 6---cheap, yet it sounds exceptional for its price. Read this for more info:http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=216903. Keep in mind that these are all 'portable' amps, not desktop.

Lol, nice headphones man!
IMO, you should get some Logitech THX Z-5300e's or something.
I'm not sure how much they go for in Russia tho, but they should be around $150. You're a rich russian thats all i know, my cousins in ukraine are not even thinking about pc's. lol.

Im from Ukraine myself, live in the US now tho.

What about the Edifier 5.1's they are similar price to the 5300's but will probably sound better given the two way sats

Those? Sounds like an offbrand. You want quality PC speakers, find an old set of Klipsch ProMedia Ultra's on eBay. They're the best and top some HTIB's in movies, music, etc.

Not those. Edifier make very good speakers. The reviews are great for these speakers. Check them out..
