What is actual normal temperature for Liquid Cooling on Temp Beta? I get 41-43C Idle with 74F in the house. 3.2 GHz with voltage of 1.3250V from Core Temp Beta. Is that good or ok for Liquid Cooling? I have Gigabyte 3D Galaxy II.

Well, it would help if you told us what processor you're taking temps of. Allendale, Conroe, Kentsfield? Dual core, quad core? We need to know these things.

Create yourself a signature w/ your specs in it. It'll make it easier on all of us.

Sorry, my signature is up.

Those temps aren't great by my standards, but I set the bar pretty high though! For a pre-built system like the gigabyte one, you cant really expect top-notch performance from it, as it just can't handle high loads. If you try to go higher with the Vcore (say around 1.4) and start scaling up on MHz (around 3.4+GHz) your temps will start to get out of control fast. I'm not just saying this cause I make & produce external water cooling setups (PM me if interested) but I think people around here will agree with me. My setup with an ambeint room temp of 21c my chip @ 1.4Vcore (e6600) with an OC of 3.66GHz, I idle @ 25/26c and load @ 39/40c. But im using a MCR320 RAD (sometimes a PA120.3) D5 pump, FuZion cpu block. See where im going with this? Good luck, but if your happy with your OC of 3.2GHz (which isn't bad by any means!) stick with what you got.

EDIT** Just found your W/Cing setup on newegg, and to be honest with you, I dont think that system could handle my CPU, yet alone anything else in the loop... http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowImage.aspx?Image=35-128-015-01.jpg%2c35-128-015-02.jpg%2c35-128-015-03.jpg%2c35-128-015-04.jpg%2c35-128-015-05.jpg%2c35-128-015-06.jpg%2c35-128-015-07.jpg%2c35-128-015-08.jpg%2c35-128-015-09.jpg%2c35-128-015-10.jpg%2c35-128-015-11.jpg%2c35-128-015-12.jpg&CurImage=35-128-015-01.jpg&Depa=1&Description=GIGABYTE+GH-WIU02+3D+Galaxy+II+Liquid+Cooling+-+Retail

what are load temps?

I haven't really looked up on that one but it was at 45C on big games like BF2142. I've never tested it on Orthos.

I've tried 3.4GHz at 1.4vcore and it idle at 43C and MB at 29C in Core Temp Beta and then after 30 mins of using, it went blue screen so it went unstable probably because of my very low timings (4-4-3-4). In the winter time, it would be at 37C and 26C with MB. You got some nice CPU Temperature at 3.6GHz, it looks like you can do some more. I don't think its worth for me upgrading cooling on my CPU to push further with 70% overclocked on my Processor.

Is 38C Idle at 3.22GHz with vcore of 1.31 good enough to overclock some more? It loads at 51-53C.

well techincally you have some room to overclock.

However i dont like your load temps. There kinda high. But my standards are even higher then newls1.

But i agree with him, your idle seems a bit high. I was loading at 44C on a PA120.2 + BIGTX120 @ 1.45Vcore Bios.

But in raw overclocking performance, you should be fine as long as you dont hit upper 60's for long periods of time.

But you just answered my question on the galaxy II's effectivness. And i dont think i can recomend it to someone on a C2D system now. Your temps are pretty much the same with a ultra120 Extreme, and thats on AIR.

Thanks for response, yea it seems be a bit high but oh well, it works fine anyway. I was just wondering if its ok or not, thats all I wanted to ask.
