Hey. I got timmings like the picture here shows on my Corsair ram :) It's a pair of Corsair XM2 TwinX 2x1 gb PC2-5300 DDR2 ram and whit these timmings they run on 2.0 volt. Is that any good? :p: I don't know that much about ram timmings... I can't change the Tras and Trc timmings in my bios.

you had to have changed the tras somewhere.
the board itself wont boot on its own, at tras 4.
if the board chooses the tras, it would most likely set 15, since the ram is meant to run tras 15 at 333 mhz.
as far as the ram goes though.
cas 3 at 2.0 volts, might hint that the ram itself has some sort of D9 in it, which should hint that the ram might have alot more to it.

You think that is good :)
Here is my Corsair Value Select, and I haven't even pushed it.

PC5300 Value Select CL5 at DDR667 3-3-3-12 2.1v
Might do some more testing tonight on it :D

use memset to tightemn things up if you cant change in BIOS.
add some volts and aim for 400 3-4-3.

Memset only works for subtimings.
No memset can change everything except Cas Latency setting.

No it doesn't, the only thing memset can't change on DDR2 is CAS
edit: too late.. ^^

So what revision are these 5400C4s and VSs that you're talking about? And what's the maximum frequency they can do with 4-4-4 or 5-5-5 timings at a decent voltage, say 2.1V?

My kingston value rams .... rated at pc5300 5-5-5-15 but can do
407fsb 3-3-3-10
483fsb 4-4-4-12
542fsb 5-5-5-15
All test at 2.4v and spi 32M to test stability.... I dont know what the ICs are but they look very similar to the OCZ flex 3-4-4 X sticks.... Definately not D9's cos it doesnt like tras lower than 10.... and cas 3 was set in bios;) ...
