I am just wondering if this is the fact.
Cuz some mobo have good NB cooler already.
For sure Asus dont' i know, like the roller coaster NB cooler look likes a killer also what about the DFI 965 NB cooler?
What u guys think from your experience?

DFI 965-S cooler is sufficient for 400FSB for sure as are most mobo's from Asus, Gigabyte and EVGA,...but if you want to play it safe install a fan onto it or make a shroud with some fans on to it to cool the NB and more..
Also stability depends on the airflow in ya case, if there's none , like I have with some clients that keep :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing me that there mobo died, a good stable overclocked pc depends on good air flow inside the case...some users will never learn lol

ASUS cooling solutions for 680i boards look like a killer but in fact are crap. Don't ever trust heatpipes connecting NB, SB and PWM.

i have an antec 900, which does excellent job of air flow, hehe.btw man, wat is ur e6600 batch? cuz i notice that u can do 3.6g at just 1.42 v, that is insane.

Most of people with 628Bs can do way better, mine does 3,7Ghz@1.39v :)

I'm putting 1/10 volt more into my 975x to do 3.6, and it was pretty hot under load, so I got an HR05 and ziptied a nexus 80mm fan to it. The HR05 is really cool at 12v, very slightly hot at 7v (I kept it there for noiseless operation), but either I'm sure keeps the 975x cooler than the stock aluminum brick.

At the least redo the TIM and put a 50MM fan on it...
Made a world of difference in my temps.
