well i got my mobo back from rma.. the one sent in was giving my error code 16 and no boot what so ever.

this board has the 570sb and is giving me big problems, and here they are
installed it and it booted fine first try. installed my os's all over again just fine. now when overclocking ill run a benchmark and it at first did ok i couldnt bench @500 fsp like my origional board but 475 was working crappy but it would at least finish the bench. then id get reboots and the 1st bios screen would have vertical dashed lines and same when loading vindows xp or vista 64 but vista 64. loaded bios defualt settings and it was fixed.

so i began overclocking again and i could run a portion of a 3d bench and back to the lines on the 1st bios screen
so i restarted it and it wouldnt boot at all with the same 16 error code on the mobo leds.
so i reset cmos and reboot and same happened, so i tried every combo known and finally it came to... reset cmos then boot to errer code 16 then hit the-mobo-reset-button and it would run through a good boot and im back in but, if i change any cpu configurations or benched 3d it would go right back to no boot till the combo of clear cmos then boot to 16 EC then hit the-mobo-reset-button

my rams are memtest86 stable

any ideas what this could be stock or overclocked settings do nothing bios p28

or am i the only having this same issue

yeah, but right now im pissed

i flashed to p28 2 times to see if that could help but no

also another strange problem when id run the 3d BM in vista and it would die and reboot id randomly lose my gfx drivers? my only guess is vista is corrupt because ive had some bsod but not from my rams

ill try p27 tommorow

I have a EVGA 680i with 590 SB and I have no luck with anything over 3.4Ghz. Just randomly unstable no matter what I do. The thing is all the other hardware is good past 3.6Ghz on my XBX2.

Really thinking about finding a way to ditch this board. I knew I should have stayed away from it.

Do not ditch the board dump the POS OS, what is it going to take for you guys to figure this out:fact: You are running bench marks on an unstable OS:nono:

On my QX6700 3.4 ghz is the magic number for me too, I can run 11x310 or 10x340, anything higher and my staility disappears irrespective of volts and cooling, OS is XP Pro. This CPU is good for 3.8 on an Anus Commando. Just to add my little whinge this squealing is really getting to me, can I RMA the board because of it?

Try 1 vid card at a time. Sounds almost like a bad video card.... With the screen corruption and all. If your still having issues bring it by Complete Computers @ 4762 yadkin. (near jims pawn shop) I'll help u figure it out. I have installed 15 EVGA 680i's, none with that issue though. If its the board, we'll know in under an hour. Hell, i wont even charge ya :)
