Read all 193 pages and you'll find out why or if you can fix it. :)

You mean you cant set the FSB to 400 or cant get it stable at 400?

Stability, I have the same board. You need to buy a CPU with a higher multiplier just for this reason. I have my E6600 @ 370 MHz x 9 multi

some P5W with 4mb cache CPU cannot get to 400FSB , my mate had 2 of the newer MCH 1.85 batch and 395FSB was the max he got with all voltages maxed out and extra cooling over NB and SB, dropped in my E6400( 2Mb core) and it would work up to 445Mhz with just 1.6 MCH voltage. I think it's in the NB controller slowing you guys down...as when he ran 8 multi things would run fine with 400FSB...
I run my E6600 at 333FSB on my RMA'd P5W wich gives me XS6800 speeds for way less money , pretty happy with that... if you want higher FSB overclocks better get a new P35 mobo or an 965 solution when they are getting cheap...

I've been looking at other boards but not sure what to get. I was looking at a asus 680i board but then i seen reviews for it compared to a asus board with Intels 975x and it was faster. I don't think i'll ever run SLI so that dont really matter, i juat want to get over 400FSB with a E6600
Any suggestions?

mayeb aait the new P5K (Dlx) mobo overclocks easily, higher bandwith then 965 chipsets ( according to anandtech) and easily overclocks to 450mhz with less heat generated , plus futureproof for 1333FSB cpu's and easy quadcore overclocking...seems to be a winner but at a high price again :(

I can easily run 400 Mhz but only at 8 multiplier. 9 is not possible to achieve but thats because of my memory

It's got nothing to do with ya memory mate, it's the NB of the mobo that's not as good as some others try 401FSB ( change of strap, so looser NB timings and try with 9 multi that might work) we Tried my Gskill, OCZ, his Team Extreem and Crucial ram all to no avail, it's the mobo that limits it...
