XS Prototype mouspads

I have five mouse pads to send out to people in the USA for testing, you must have more that 100 posts and an active gamer.

No pics as I do not want this idea stolen, I will have several variants for sale if they meet and exceed the testers expectations.

Key features to be the best product in the industry, no eating of skates, no buildup of dirt and debris, constant use over a year and no sign of wear.

I would but there are much better candidates on here than I. I don't game often enough with enough variety of games. Mostly just fps games like Counter-Strike, UT2004, Battlefield 2142, and Quake 4. I would presume a good candidate would be someone who plays a wide variety of game types and it would probably be helpful if they had several different mice to test the pad surface/friction. As well as other good quality mouse pads to compare.

The costs are very low to produce, less than any other on the market and yields a higher quality product.

The best part is I can do high res images but we need to test duability. Without an image no wear damage.

An odd side effect is dirt buildup (dirty hands) on the bottom of the mouse, the mouse will need more attention than the mouse pad ever will.

I also have a few set aside for SGT Viper, he can give them away at his discretion.

Erm.. I think I should test one in the UK environment, you know, because the ambient temps and humidity and everything is different and all so... might affect the surfaces quality abroad :D

i think the free thing attracted too much attention. hopefully there is at least some interest when they are actually for sale. i personally use a piece of wood sprayed with silicon for my mouse pad. its slick enough to where if you tap the mouse with a finger it'll fly off the pad.

Are there any plans for variants of the mouse pad? For example, I'd like to see two variants at least. One variant would be inexpensive enough for everyone on my beloved forum to get one ($15?). The other variant would be extremely long-lasting, but slightly more expensive (perhaps around $30).

LudLud I'm not quite sure that is fair. First off this is not the gaming section of the forum. This is CTX's subforum. I lurk in this section because I happen to like CTX. They have great servers to play when you are playing a FPS multi. I lurk more in the pc gaming section because more conversations are had there having to do with RTS' which I enjoy more. Are you saying that these pads should only be available to people who post in this particular subforum?

I am not trying to pick sides and yes I know I am bringing a almost dead thread back but I must say I do kind of agree with ludlud!! I don't post in this section much and I don't get on ventrilo much because I cant play online and it seems like a wast of bandwidth for me to try it. you can ask Vipor I have installed it on my old system and talked to him on there.
