quick quetion, looking at some a-coil (evap coils) for some A/C systems, it shouldn't take much time to convert them to a condenser coil, but my question is the metering device (usually cap tube) that goes along with these, do they feed into the line somewhere inside the coil, or just have a connection right on the side where the liquid goes into the coil

secondly according this diagram which would have the best effiency as a condenser (crappy drawing bear with me ><)

The second one... With the first one, some liquid refrigerant might get pooled in the bottom of that valley part.

the oil will trap on 1st diagram.

standardcoils will have cap tube enter top and oil & liquid refrigerant will flow to bottom from gravity, so if making one piping is important or it will surge.
