Can anyone 'round here recommend a place for replacement ipod batteries? I'd like to get the kit to do it. When searching, i found 750 mAh battery kit from ipodjuice.com but don't know about their reputation. Also they want 35 bucks for it. I remember searching earlier for it and finding a place that was cheap and highly spoken of. :D

Well after a bit of research on http://www.ipodbatteryfaq.com/
wound up going with the rapidrepair kit. a 650 mAh battery kit for my ipod mini was $25 shipped. I'll let you all know how it goes.

hardware hacking = :D :D

That's nice, but this ipod is a hand me down and way out of warranty. No free bat. :(

Also, the battery that comes in the mini is only 400 mAh. The one i ordered is 650. MOAR POWER! :woot:

Got my battery yesterday. It took about 20 mins to replace. It rocks. Lasts waaaay longer than the old burnt out stock bat. Money well spent!
