I've been struggling with my computer because either the CPU, mobo or PSU is not working, and the POST signals are not audible :brick: :brick: :brick: ...mainly because there is no onboard speaker for the mobo and no case speaker for the case. This is where the customer service comes in.
I just called Antec to see if there was supposed to be a case speaker for the Antec 900 and in a few seconds he said "No, but most motherboards come with a built in speaker for the POST test." As soon as I told him that my mobo did not have an onboard speaker for the POST, he volunteered to send me a free stand alone speaker that just plugs into the top of the jumper and should work perfectly, and it would be in the mail on Monday morning (currently Friday evening). I was like, "WOW, that was fast, easy and great customer service!"
I just got off the phone with ASUS (great customer service as well) too for a problem with either the mobo or CPU. It ended up that I had troubleshot it as far as he could, plus a little further (which did no good :D). I removed piece by piece until I had a bare board and learned that your POST signals will not work without your CPU. :nono:
