It seems like no-one ever reeds the "benchmark programs"-section, so i'll try over here. :)

I'm writing a little app, which can be used to analyze HW with benchmarking apps (like 3Dmark), without the need to starting each bench seperatly, changing the settings, writing down the results, importing them in excell, making a graph etc.

All this is done automaticly. Just add a few benches to the pool (currently only 3Dmark01 & pifast), choose the settings (like resolution, fsaa,...) and let the app do everything for you. After all the benchmark apps are ran, you can make an excel graph by simply clicking a button. :)

I need some ppl to betatest it on other platforms. It seems like it's working fine on WinXP + OffceXP.

The registered version of 3Dmark01 is needed. The unregistered version doesn't support command line interface.

You can download it here (http://www.madshrimps.be/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2460). Unzip and doubleclick MadMark.jar (Java VM needed).

Please follow these instructions:
0. unzip, doubleclick MadMark.jar
1. benchmark>3Dmark01>add (3x)
2. if necessary, set path of application
3. choose settings (choose a different setting for each app: gfx, cpu & balanced)
4. check run on each bench
5. fill in a description
6. start... and wait
7. select all results
8. click exporttoexcell

Does it show a neat excell graph or not?

Looks nice. No registered 3dmark here but great looking! Keep up the fine development work :)

Well, you could test the pifast module, but that's not too exciting. ;)

I've got some ppl over at madshrimps with a full copy, they're betatesting.
