Power supply near CPU...problem?

Hi

I'm contemplating doing a sort of serious mod (stuffing a water cooled ds3 e6300 in a baby atx case). The layout would have the power supply laying on it's side
parallel to the mboard.

Imagine the PSU hovering about 2 & 3 inches above the memory and CPU.

Does the power supply emit any ...um aura..( magnetic, radiation, electro feild) that would wreak havoc on my CPU, memory m-board?

if you keep the psu's metal casing on, no problem. a psu gives off EMI. the metal casing blocks it. a clear psu, like the ass-pire psu's, will not block the emi.
