I've been holding off on a new build hoping that the 680i issues get worked out.

With the latest BIOS release, are the boards still having issues with the PS/2 mouse and keyboard while overclocking? Can anyone confirm this and possibly update myself and others on the biggest issues still present with this board?

Can't hold off on this build anymore, it's either the 680i or Commando at this point.

Thanks!

ah... sorry that would be the EVGA, specifically the A1 with latest BIOS.

Everything else is ordered..... down to this decision.

WELCOME TO XS, Please hang your sanity @ the door, and don't mind the crazy ones in the white coats.

The only apparent issue I have with mine is that when I go above 3.2, with everything stock, but the CPU multi I lose the on board NIC/Network connection.

When I drop the muli back down, then I get the NIC back.

I have not in some type of organized steps to up the voltage etc yet. I have a 680i A1 with P27 Bios.

I have hit 3.7, booted into windows and it freezes, again this on stock volts.

I can only assume by upping the volts I will gain more stability. Also have yet to play with mem timings (still trying to get a grasp on the different options).

As a recent owner and someone currently undergoing an RMA, I can tell you that they still haven't worked out the screwy memory controller.
