Im not sure what to make of this but... certain times when i start up my computer, i will get significantly higher framerates from my 7600GT. With no overclocking, for instance, i ran aquamark3 and scored 6,597 on the video end with my current setup, 2 hours later, when the computer was restarted, i scored 13,998 on the same settings. And it did the same thing this morning, when i first started my computer up i scored in the upper 13,000's and when i restarted it it went back down to 6,500's. What is going on here? Ive tried it on both overclocked and non overclocked settings and it does the same thing. And if its any consolation to you guys, my brand new ACER AL1916W i got at christmas sometimes makes a LOUD hummmmmmmm at 75hz and when i lower it to 60hz it makes a click click click click noise. When i wiggle the power cord, the noise goes in and out. Ive contacted acer about this but no response yet but i was wondering if its possible its related.

all specs are in the sig.

When you overclock your video card are you making sure you check the box that says "Apply these settings at startup"
