The game does well to meet and exceed all expectations of the series. I finished the game beating GDI, NOD and Scrin campaigns without a single crash or graphic defect. All played on medium level of difficulty.

Once you beat the NOD compaign the Scrin will become visible, Scrin is a bit underpowered but make up it with a pack of tripods. There is a lot more detail to the GDI and NOD campaigns as well, Scrin seems to be a bit short in game play. I would have liked to conquer the world with Scrin.

Not to spoil the game with details, I highly reccomend this game as it played perfectly for single player, nice detail to graphics in a feel we are used to from previous releases.

AGH! Generals 2 would be horrible. Not that Gens was a bad game, it just didn't belong in the series. Same way CnC3 doesn't belong. Just because it works in BFME2 doesn't mean it works in CnC! Is anyone besides me annoyed by the squads that aren't actually squads?
*sigh* and yet I still play.

I need :coffee:
um... think later

the CnC3 ladder system is bad and lots of people disconnect to avoid loses.

most of EA's rts's has a very bad community

nope

the losing guy avoids a loss and you, you take home wasted 2-10 min

game isn't that bad, some things cost a bit more,
scrin is good now.
nod's flame tanks are stronger, and more annoying
some infantry units are stronger
refineries give you less money when sold, harvesters cost more.

the game is good because it requires you have a good mix of units to win. trying to load up on one type of unit usually costs you .

no, its still mostly a tank game. i beat a guy last night that tried to send about 35 venom aircraft(upgraded) after me. aircraft to me are only for support, tanks do the main damage. he had those mixed in with upgraded scorpions, and probably about 20 groups of the rocket infantry.
i used 1 support power to freeze his units, then got rid of his aircraft, then his ground units

the longest game i have played in the past week, was a 3v3 with some friends of mine. and that game only lasted 14 minutes. most of my games tend to last about 8-9 minutes.

like i said earlier, you have to mix units, you can't just built 1 unit. if you are gdi, you need a handful of snipers to take out infantry, or APC's mixed in to kill infantry. Nod has those buggies mainly. scrin has the walkers as well as warships. warships kill infantry very easily, as well as low armor vehicles. this isn't like ra2 where you could build 1 type of tank and win, you have to mix your tanks up. scrin's buzzers are probably some of the best anti infantry in the game if used right.

and if you are having trouble with money, change your build order up. i had trouble starting out, changed up a few things, and now im fine, its usually pretty rare for me not to hit around 15,000 at some point in the game, and i like having about 3-5 build queue's going at once
