Hi all,
I just got an X-Fi sound card. I've been using the Supreme-FX thing on the P5N32-E sli motherboard until now. I got used to the idea of having both my headphone and my stereo speakers jacked-in at the same and then choosing to listen off of one of those devices by turning my speakers on/off.
But X-Fi doesn't seem to have such functionality  Or does it?

I also want to know if there's any chance I can connect and use my ATX cabinet's front panel audio. I connected it via the supreme-fx sound card and enabled HD-audio in the BIOS but it doesn't seem to work that way.

Help?

Goddam (un)Creative Labs mony sukers! It seems like I have to cook up a frankenstein interface for this:

Is there any other way?

currently, only the xtreme gamer has support for conventional front panel by direct pinout. not sure if it's possible to rig with other models.
