i want to do a chilled water system for my entire comp but need some help on a couple things first off i cant decide on which collant to use r134, r22, or r12 and yes i do have each got a 30 gallon of r22 and r12. i want to cool my comp but i dont want to cool it to much to where i have to cover up everything i want it to look nice and clean. i liked what noobzed did with his thermal barriers. well it will be a little while before i do anything but i will read a lot in between my adv cad and maya classes lol so that when i do start i will be fully up to date on what i need to know.

Have you ever built a refrigeration unit? Is this your first experience building a chiller or refrigeration unit? Do you have most of the tools already (including things like manifold, vacuum pump, etc).
Overall I'd say r134a is very good for a chiller, especially if your looking for much closer to ambient.

Rxxx are refrigerants, what goes thru water tubes in a liquid state is coolant.

no time now or I will help more,if I forget pm me over weekend

sry i havent posted any thing but been real busy at school i have a charging station that i used to redo the ac in my 88 suburban using r-12. i have plenty of tools and torches to help with the project. I was going to build a cooler for my current computer but i am going to build my dream home/work computer and ive decided most of the what is going to go in the comp here are the stats of the comp i want to build: Intel penryn quad core cpu, 2*8950 gx2, 8gbs or ddr1111, a couple of raptor x hds. The main parts of the comp i want to cool are video cards, cpu, maybe the ram, and the onboard chip sets. i want to be able to cool the comp at at sub 0 celcius and or at 0 celcius.
