2*1950PRO not over give ~8000 in 06, and what will give two such videocards in SLI? In any case ZoLKoRn has proved, that it is necessary to wait for a card! Success!
Impressive results! Thanks for ur sharing!

Uh, only 289 fps in nature?
The card seems to be rather strong in AQ03 though.

Nice resukts, thank you for sharing :)
but I am not really impressed. With the exception of the 05 score my 7300GT SLi setup is on par/faster than a GTS with the same cpu speed :(
Was expecting more than that :/
What was the stock VGPU? 1.45V doesnt sound like much volts.

stock voltages 1.35/2.10
here is 1000MHz with 1.65V, but RAM (no)speed is killing it :(

Nice to see so many ocers from so many parts of the world :)
Also, a stupid question, but is it true that the 8600GTS cannot go over 750 core with stock vcore/vmem and stock cooler?

Stock reference cooler/voltage maybe, I've seen a Galaxy branded 8600GTS that comes with a decent Zalman copper cooler on top, might allow you to squeeze a bit more out of the GPU with the simple pencil mods.

impressive for a stock cooler, what do we compare this OC'd card performance-wise to?

hmmmmm seems like the 8600 gts performs about on par with the 7900 gto/gtx
I get very similar 3dmark 01 and 06 scores with the same cpu speeds.
At the same cpu speed my card gets 7300 in 3dmark 06.

I thought about buying this card for my second rig, but the problem is that the performance without OC really suxx and the ATI x1950Pro is much faster...
But with this OC this card definately roxx :woot:

Crazy clocks m8's...
Today i tried something like that
Grabbed a borrowed asus 8600gts, 1,5v vgpu and 2.33v mem's...
Stock "half" cooler :D and stock thermal paste
Put two tornado (92mm and 80mm) on it and pray to lord to keep listening at the end :D
Just check the reached mhz cuzz i used for this test a normal xp, daily speed (4.3Ghz) and i used 1gb ddr2 mem at 800 cas 5 cuzz my 2x1gb kit is F#cked up, tommorow new one for a 3dmark run in the future.

Your lucky most people hit 750-760 nowhere near 900mhz.Upload the bios anyway anywhere you want maybe you have some special bios that could lead to other people reaching 900 mhz without mod.Thanx for the reply

@ To all with 8600gts...
I modded to 1.472 vcore ( 1.462 on load) and default vmem.
Core can do 945mhz with 2300mhz vram but not everywhere stable...
Eg, I can play for hours some games like mafia, test drive unl, alpha prime etc...but it freezes after some time on other games like oblivion, colin dirt etc + atitool...
It freezes for 4-5 sec and then it pop up a msg : '' Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered ''
To be stable i need to downclock it to 900mhz core...
I know that the problem isnt the ''high'' overclock but something at the clock change ( 2d low power / 3d ) and the switcing frequency...but...how...
Is there anyone with the same prob here ? :S
Can you tell me the default voltage of the GT???Mine with everything stock except for VF-900CU stays at 625 core clock AtiTools stable but when I go to play a game PC either crashes ou BSOD:(
