3DMark2001: N°1 in FX5800 cat

Just finished my final bench :) and first one over 20k with the FX5800 non-ultra. Pretty good considering it's aircooled, temps are quite warm in my room and this damn IC7-G isn't voltmodded yet ;)
It is a crappy card, and it will be seriously raped with vmods and pelts before it leaves my hands :D
Everything is benched at 500/1000 without artifacts :eek: 560/1100 gave me lower scores :confused: and 550/1050 gave me a BSOD :D I seriously need a waterblock for this baby :banana: afterwards I'll go playing with my 9800 ;)
Well, the Russians had #1 for 2 days, now Belgium strikes back, and boy, I nuked their score :D lucky for me it didn't crash with these 30°C roomtemps...
Pelt luvin' after my exams, French on monday is already turning into a disaster :D

I wanna thank Factor for supplying me with the hardware :) saves me a lot of cash ;)

Nice score there ctgilles with a non ultra 5800! A good block for it might be the MCW50T. Maybe you can borrow one from JC. :p

can't find any vmods tho' :( I'm sure I can get it higher, it's not even artifacting, but it needs extra juice, higher clocks will give same/lower scores :( absolute max is 515/1015...
A good card, but compared to a 9800 (same pricing) you get less quality, lower scores and less goodies :( it does beat the crap out of a 9800 in OpenGL, and I think with a vmod 21k should be possible...

Maybe post some pics of the chips on the card and have DDTUNG take a look when he has time? I can't find any modding guides for the 5800 as well.

I would venture to say that it would make an excellent candidate for a filler in the classifieds section then;)
