IE team got about 10,000 bug reports during the beta stages of IE7. They say that about 3% of those where actually usefull bugreports. Which means that for IE8 they will have a "closed" beta and try and improve on the quality of the bugs reports that come in so that the dev team dosnt have to sift through another 10,000 useless bug reports.

call up your local MS support. Tell them how you feel, and then they tell u what they think about your opinion by sending you a bill for that nice personal conversation.

I think that should do it ;)

Yeah, most people can't explain their problems.

If only one got paid -say $5 x severity per bug that gets fixed- then they'd get many great bug reports (form me at least)

Same here so I disabled it.

I never send bug reports because in most cases I know what caused it. If I didn't know then its not really a big deal. I never had anything critical lost anyway
