i bought my self a second pump for my system (i'm modding my ddc 2 pumps top piece as we speak ;) ), and was wondering, does it matter witch way i mount it.
thinking of mounting it horizontally , is it OK.. or does it cause damage to it ?

i mean like this:

as long as the inlet is not upside down...it will work in any orientation...so yes it will work as the picture you posted :D

I know SIGfever had his mounted vertically. That is until it died.
I plan on copying his setup in my MM case as such:

I'm using the MM 3.5" rails to angle the pump in order to reduce the bends in the tubing. It will actually be mounted with the rails on the top and bottom.
Just easier to take a photo from this perspective.

i think the no sideways with stock top is because it has to pull the water up.
And if i remember correctly, the impellers on these guys die if its in a highly restricted loop.

?
They use LESS power at higher pressure.
Petra is still trying to figure out what's going on...no one knows yet.

i'm modding the top so that should not be a problem
