Help me! My 3dmark score is too low!

Hi all!:) I'm a newbie in this forum. I hope anyone can help me!

The problem is my 3dmark 2001Se (330) score.

I think my score is very very low for my configuration.

Under there is my configuration and my optimal settings.

P4 2.53 fsb 533 @ 2800
512 ddr samsung PC 266 timings 2-2-5-2 in syncrous mode
Gainward GF4 TI 4200 64 DDR GS @ 310/606
Motherboard Gigabyte 8STXC with Sis 645dx
Agp Aperture Size 256 mb
Driver Sis Agp 1.16 e Sis Ide 2.03
Driver Detonator 43.51

Optimal Settings
- no usb periphals connected to my computer
- Lod Bias 4.0 for all games
- No Vsync
- Driver settings on High performance
- Disable 8-bit Palette Size
- No icons and programs in tray or in backgrounds
- No W-Buffer
- No AA / AF
- The same settings of Direct3d in OpenGl

With this configuration and with this settings my score was max 12704!!!:mad:

I think is very low! I don't know what is the problem!:smileysex

i think thats about right. maybe some one else can show you some more tweaks. also do you mess withe the lod value at all.

Keizer, Welcome to Xtreme. Sorry I can't help you with optimizations for 3dmark, it's not my bag. But I figured I'd at least say hello:D

ok the best drivers for geforce 4 cards are 42.51, with them i scored higher than with other drivers and i could oc the card about 10mhz higher on memo and core.

sis chipset huh? hmmm i guess thats why you score so low.
try new drivers, i heard sis has the best hd drivers, better than nvidias vias or intels, but the memory performence is not that great. install dx9.0 and maybe even try to install windows again. if that doesnt help get a new board if you want more performence.

im getting about 14K with my 4200@320/600 on 8rda+ with an xp1700@11x200 fsb ...

Wel, the SiS isn't really performant, and 310 on the core is the big limiter, you will need a higher core to get up, and 2.8GHz isn't that much ;)

Sorry but i can't overclock core more than 310!:( i think if I cooling greater the core i can arrive at max 320.
