Now I bench my E6400 for 3700Mhz, but goes up to 68-70C for cores (Core Temp)
Is this very high?

If you're just benching, don't worry about it, the CPU will shut down when it gets too hot. Long term, I have seen fully warrantied C2Ds from OEMs run 80C+ 24/7, so 68-70C is nothing.

your fine if you just bench with those temps.. but in long term not that healthy.

I mean bench with Orthos, hours with that temp.
Very strange thing, on 3600mhz 1.33V temp is 53-55C, at 3700 1.36V is 70C! not good...

wow that is pretty hot for 1.36V, with the exact same heatsink as you I could do 1.525V and still wouldn't get much hotter than 70C.

For orthos i prefer temps up to 60C...
For any other bench progs up to the slowdown point...:p
Μy Ε6600 also has this big increase in temps like yours above 3,6GHz..

Sometimes I think people put a little too much stock into what there temps are. Like another poster said, a couple of years ago I had a chance to work on a DELL XPS Gen 3 system with a 3.6ghz pentium and even with Dell's funky custom heatsink setup it was idling at 56 LOL. I'm sure if there was a big concern about it they would do it as they don't want to RMA all day long....
That being said, I hate anything above 40idle myself, with load being 10-15 above that....... :-0
my cpu idles at 46-50c and load is 65-71c under orthos with 1.49volts and 1.47 volts under load.......i run this setup with perfect stability with no issues, i dont plan on keeping this cpu more than 8 months, so if its lasts that long im happy, wich i am 100% sure it will last even longer.

yeh, but you're ambient temp is gonna be a bit over mine though......

That's fine for benching. I've had mine up to 85C a few times (2?) purposely to see what would happen and to experiment with stability @ those temps.
One time I mounted my block a bit off and it read 110C in CoreTemp when I got into windows. No damage was done. I still have my regular 24/7 OC.

Uhh, Orthos isn't a benchmark it's a stress test
I use 65C CoreTemps while running the Orthos "Small FFT" test for 10 minutes or longer as my "safe" overclock limit.:)
I've also benchmarked with a quad core at past 3.6Ghz on a stock HSF. That get's pretty hot.
