Budget total is around 1200-1300

Missing Tuniq Tower or Possible TR Ultra-120 with a Panaflo fan (not sure if it'll fit with this case)

Uses: I am currently playing WoW, CS:S, DoD:S, and WC3. I currently have a Samsung 204B Monitor that I would be using with this system. My goal is to hit 3.3-3.8ghz. I want to be able to play all these games on 1600x1200 (monitor's native res) on max or almost all max. Also, I wasn't sure on the Gigabyte DS3 board....or should I go for a Biostar T-force? This'll be my first time to OC so I don't want to break the board hehe...Thanks for all your opinions

Looking good so far, I have that exact case with window. Nice case but I think it's a little boring so I'm getting an Ultra Aluminus and doing alot of mods to it. For heatsink you might want to wait for the new Thermalright's (Ultima-90 and Ultra-120 Plus/Extreme) which will be out soon, they are better than the Tuniq and not so massive. Everything looks pretty good, nice choice for ram, good performance for the price. I can't give you advice on budget Intel motherboards, I'm going AMD myself.

Excellent Rig..except that I saw that you can afford about $70 more before you exceed your budget...so I'd recommend this for vid card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130074 ... its closer to GTX performance, while the 7900GS will be beaten by the 8600GTS this spring, the 7950GT will not.

You can get a X1950XT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102067) at the same price and it's faster. Otherwise your build looks good.

Oh that's because I am getting 2 of them. Another question for you guys also, should I go ahead and put those drive in a Raid 0? Not quite sure how to..but I'll be reading more about that tonight. Back to studying/work. Thanks again!

oh sorry, thought that was the price for one. silly me.

yeah raid-0 is striping (with one p). use the intel manager when you boot up to configure.

Dump the AS5, get the MX-1... There is a thread about thermal pastes, AS5 and ASC are equal, and MX-1, some shin etsu thing, and liquid metal are quite a bit better. Arctic Cooling MX-1 happens to be cheaper as well.
My 7900GS is SCARY, so I love it, but...

Agreed on X1950.

Any reason you're getting the 1.3 rev of the DS3? Isn't the 3.3 a better clocker (and probably what you'll receive if you order the non-1.3 from the Egg.)

I was able to stretch the budget a little more than what I had planned. I think I'll wait for the DFI Infinity 965-P Board to be on stock and also wait for the new ATI Midrange cards (x2900 series?) coming out this month. Just waiting for another month or so (need 2 more paychecks ^_^). I should be getting around 1400 with tax and shipping so I think I'll be good. Thanks a lot for all of your opinions.
