Exactly...you have your own GPU BIOS :D You modded them to give you the performance you want, and its paid off. This isnt an insult at you, but if you can do it, so can others, to give the performance they want.

I'm going to say something that should be obvious. If you guys think that hipro and kp and the other top benchers just wake up every now and then and go "gee, let's make some big 3D scores today," then plop their containers on, dump some LN2 in and cross their fingers and hope for the best, you would be sorely mistaken. The highest scores are all too often among the best optimized as well. ;)

Alot have asked me to run 05' at those clocks on the striker with approved drivers, so there it is.
In the end gotta have it all working, not there just yet.

There's nothing "unkown" in 2k1 and in 2k5 to share......ALL of the "tricks" have been told some YEARS ago and since then, nothing new came up till now........ ;) :)

I almost had 5.1ghz through pcmark on new one.

I think with the cards maxed below -100c, it can :eek:. Cpu is good for about 5320mhz through 01' on teh touchy striker vreg @1.87v so far on 2.3 with perfect control, maybe 2 degree variation through whole test. It seems to be tuned perfectly for this load.
From the numbers I am seeing, jaws are going to hit the floor if Hipro gets going at 5400mhz+ with 980/1220+ :toast:. I will battle as hard as I can with evo2.3, than switch units prolly.

Really dont know if this chip is a gem yet or not. It's L626A and I think 1.86v-1.87v/5310mhz through full 01' at -119c isn't bad really. Seems to want to freeze up and blue screen when I try to take it colder like the other L624A I used for 32m did, but more vcore might solve that...which leads to the other problem of the vreg on the striker being really touchy.
Just want to run the cpu where I know it will run solid for now, so I can scale the cards mostly. Cards are good for below -100c so far :D
After 3d, maybe I'll do some PI with it on 975x to see what the chip can do there and if any improvement in clocks(same for L624chip).

What does your chip do in multi gpu 3d misko? Have you run SLI 3d with it yet on a 680i board? E6700?

We didn't try 3D because for this OC season (we overclock in winter on summer there are so many other things to do :D) we didn't make some SLI pots but we will for next season. I know that this cpu can do 5.4ghz+ both cores for 32M on 965 so mu guess that on the 680i he can go also 5.4ghz, we will try 5.42ghz 32M in couple of days because this windows wasn't so good :slapass:


I can try 3d mark with 965 board and single card (some 7xxx type) next time we try 32M if thats ok?

Yes Abit is very nice board, very very fast :) , I know that 965 is bad for 3D but we don't have any i680 yet, soon we get one we will try SLI and 6700, I think scores will be very interesting.

Same L626 chip as 01' SLI score, but just a little more vcore on p5ws64pro and -124c fully loaded on my 2.3evo
Couldnt' be riding more dirty on the intsall either. This was my p5n32sli 3d benching drive lol.
This chip paired up with some new gpu's should do quite nicely :D

I noticed on one run same cpu speed that the fps shot to 164 at opening scene...never seen that before. I'll do more with that later. I think maybe this run posted was bugged a few fps low from what I saw.

Not trying to take anything away from the other killer results done on older drivers here. We all know the boost these new drivers give :D

BAD things happening these days to me...... :(

All started with my IN9 mobo which lost the internal PCI-E controller and then it never powered up.... :(

Then I lost an EVGA mobo I have bought, just like that...!.... I didn't even the opportunity to insulate it...... :(

Then I lost my ABIT 965 QuadGT because I lifted up a DELTA fan which was blowing the CPU's heatsink and its metallic cover "touched" the back of the VGA and the whole system powered down.....Afterwards it showed 87 error.....No CPU VCore......The power circuit got died.... :(

Then when I was trying to fill my printer with paper, my BEST 8000UL with the fatbodies was dropped down the floor by mistake and 3 chips where off with the heatspreader along.... That was the worst.... :(

A delta fan got destroyed.....broken..... :(

Now I don't have Fatbodies going that high anymore!.... :( My backup pair does MAX 409MHz and with errors 415MHz.......and I need these 415MHz......
SO today I played a bit with them but no go......all of my benching problems was from my rams.....I then plugged on the CellShocks 1000C4 and tested with Cas 3-3-3-4..... :) NOT that good even at 451MHz as the fatbodies with Cas 3-2-2-4..... BUT finally I'm ready to bench again - single vga for the time been - at around 5433MHz +/-...... :D

I just hope from now on my hardware will be OK again and my luck change.... :(

Wow hipro, we all have had our share of crappy luck in this business, but that really is something. Were they those 8000UL's that you had doing 3-2-2 1T at 430?? R.I.P....they really were special. :(

At least for me though, I always tend to have a barrage of terrible luck just before I pull some good numbers. :p:

Give the GMH a chance, they're very versatile. If 450 CL3 doesn't do it, use 500 CL3 instead (I know you have :p:), and if that doesn't do it, go to 600 CL4. :D

Noooppeeee......IF you use 158.19 NVIDIA drivers, you will get a VERY GOOD boost in everything.... ;) EVEN in 2k1 benchie which I though that it will gain only the Nature BUT ALL of the bench games got up as well.... :) ;)

I'm using 165.01 since they come to public :) IMO and testing of course, they give little more numbers, than 158.xx series ;) I'm happy hitting 50k single 2003 with ambient cooling with them
