okay i found some info on how to make caps lock toggle the names, and other stuff like displaying the team's icon on top of them.

Those are server options so hopefully steve will add them:
fn=1 or fi=1 one would be good enough.
‘fi’ – show team’s icon above the character model of teammates. “0” - disabled, “1” – enabled;
‘fn’ – show players names above their models upon pressing CapsLock. “0” – names are shown only with CapsLock pressed, “1” - CapsLock toggles names on/off;

yea i dunno how to set it up really i haven't tried that, how'd you start it, did you download the ~450MB file from fileplanet? as for the version of the server (yaddam says it's 1.0009)

The next patch for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will be released soon. This has been announced in the russian GSC Game World forum. The patch v1.0002 has completed the quality-assurance part, to ensure that there won't be provided new bugs when applying the patch. We guess that the patch will be released between Friday and Monday.

Though there aren't any news on the actual changelog for this patch, yet.

You can copy and paste the following commands into a Windows command console instead of making a file and importing it. (Start -> Run.. -> cmd) Yes, you can specify the version that the server displays, but who knows what effects that might have.

64-bit:

and according to some of the moderators, the new patch(1.0009) should be here somewhere this week.

The command lines are either executed thru a command line in our MonsterManager and or if you have direct access to your server you can execute some of them thier. The big thing to remember here is most of these configurations and changes (most not all) need to be made then the server restarted for them to go into effect.
