:( I had a nice saturday helping out a friend. I left my comp on when I left my house, so after 3 hours I'm back. Computer is out, wasn't my mom so I tried to start the pc... NOTHING:slapass:

It looks like the mobo is dead. It will only flash for like half a second on the diagnostic lights when current has been off the mobo.

- So I tried another PSU.
- Other ram in the upper orange slot.
- Cmos cleared
- Battery taken out
- Unhooked everything except mobo and cpu

I'm getting pretty sad that suddenly it looks like it died, espascialy when there is some E-mail on the pc that I can't excess now.

I don't have friends who I can ask too check out my cpu but ik gues the mobo is the bad one.

So is ther anyone who has a answer or maybe a tip for me.

Well I got some good news atleast.

Got myself a secondhand A8N-SLI premium for a good price.
I directly tested it and well thank god it's works again only now one problem.
I need my raid backkkk.

I have set it as a raid 0 on the dfi board using port 3 and 4

Now I can't figure how to get it working again. The system just doesn't seem to recon i have a raid and not 2 harddisks.

On the asus i have it connected to the raid ports 1 and 3 is this right?

I tried searching but couldn't find a answer matching my problem.

Cheers:toast:

Setting up a raid 0 again is hard enough on if it goes boomboom on a board that works, less not speaking about setting it up on a new or used DIFFERENT board. I'm sorry to say, but some boards demand you to format drives again to set up a new raid :(

Well the raid is back using the nvidia controller instead of the silicon one helped. Only now the partiotions are gone.

So anyone know a good program to get them back from a raid sys ?
