I think we're going to need a bit more information on this one, such as your setup. I really hope you're not running everything stock.

ive fixed the problem and are now running E6400 @ 3.5Ghz 500FSBx7 @ 1.39v with TTBT, Crucial Ballistix running at 1000Mhz 4-4-4-12 2.25v, ASUS P5B-Deluxe, and a XFX 8800GTS 320mb running at 612Mhz Core and 1008Mhz memory.

Yeah, when orthos fails it generally means your system is not stable :D
