View Full Version : Xtreme WCG TeamSpeak/Ventrilo server?

I was just talking to Josh and the idea of having a teamspeak server came up... I think it would be great to talk to some fellow people here!! Hell of a lot cheaper than calling as well ;)

Problem is: we'd need to get someone with a decent internet connection willing to host a server for the team :)


What are your thoughts about this?

No a big fan of TS personally and however i've used Vent for 2 years so I am kinda biased.

I am pretty sure [cTx]SGT.Viper will be more then happy to add a WCG channel to our ventrilo. In fact I think he once mentioned this same proposition before.

I've got a fast connection here at school, not sure if the school firewalls would block me hosting a ventrilo server though. So far they've blocked online game servers :(

I'm biased towards vent so if you guys do get something started I hope it is vent :D TS just never seemed to work well.

If we can get every one to use Vent Viper has it up and running now and has offered to make a channel just for us cool DC'ers :D Remember He is hooked too and all the guys on cTx are a blast to talk with.
