8800GTS and STALKER!!!!

I have an 8800GTS pentium D 3.ghz 2gb ram and vista.. anyone have a patch 2 make stalker work? i been reading around and the problem is the compatibility with card anyone have a patch? if so show me link. thanks

There are problems with the 88GTS and Stalker? I haven't heard any. The folks at G3D seem to have no problems.

Works perfectly for me, and ATM I'm running a Sempron 2800+ @ 2.4GHz w/8800GTS.

It is the Vista, not so much the card.

How do i fix it? must be vista.. everything works fine until you get into the first part of the game you play only the sky and logos appear rest is grey... please help

Hi, if it is Vista then how come the game runs fine with my 'lowly' X1900XT-X and vista? It is rubbish driver support more than likely....

pretty sure the reviews of stalker ive read all mention vista issues. i play stalker on my xp with an 8800GTX with all settings maxed and its smooth as butter.... now only if i liked the game...

There's a patch been released that should improve most stuff. It doesn't play well with Vista though
