I started a p4 2.8 HT folding with the new windows smp client. it is slow going and it seems to take around 56min per % - which means that it'll take around 4 days to finish a WU. with a bit of bad luck it might take a bit over 4 days, which incidently is over the timelimit set for the WU - does this mean it gets discarded and no points are given or what?

It seems odd to me that they'll rather discard the WU if it comes in half a day over deadline - in which case they will need to get the WU redone somewhere else...

does anyone know exactly how the deadline system works?

EDIT: Uhm nevermind, took my lazy ass over to the stanford forums and found the answer :D

Seems i better stop running the smp client on that machine as it'll pretty much be a waste :/
