I am curious, for those of you who have used these coolers which one would you prefer for a quad core CPU? :stick:

A) Prometeia Mach II
B) Vapochill Lightspeed
C) Custom manufacturer

I find it a little humorous that I work at a chemical plant that produces 170,000 lbs. of R22 a day, and I'm coming here looking for small scale phase change equipment.

As the LD said, custom is better, way cheaper and is all that will cool these cpu's properly

Do a little searching in the forum, and I think you will find that the general concensus is that the stock Mach or Vapo will not hold up trying to subzero a quad! I personally tried a Vapo LS, and it started to die after a few weeks, most likely due to the heat load from the quad.
They can be modded to do the job, or most seem to agree that buying a custom unit tuned for that kind of load will end up giving you better results, and usually at a lower cost.

If you go for either of these, they will certainly need to be modded for quad-core you want to strap it to.

It might be too much messing about buying a retail unit and paying for it to be modified too. Custom is probably your best bet!
