BOINC under ubuntu

[Duh]

sorry for asking sometthing that already has been asked, but been googling and find it not easy at all to install the ubuntu client for boinc :confused:

to sum up, my router hangs up very often what makes it impossible for me to download successfully the 3.8 MB installer from wcg.org

I just persuaded a friend to fire up one of his comps to crunch ( one of them runs Ubuntu ) :cool:

If you are using Ubuntu 6.10, the BOINC manager and client are part of the software that is included.

just installed the first one and usfin alt+f2 and typing boinc nothing comes up :S

I am trying to see what happens if I install the GUI one
