EDIT** It's a k8t not k8n

Friend of mine is having some technical difficulties with upgrading his cpu from 3200+ to a FX55 which it claims to support.

Rig:
fx55
msi k8t neo 2
2gb pc40000 (4x512)
650w psu

The machine had been working wonderfully for past few weeks, now he can't get it to post with the fx55 inside the light code error says that it's "early chipset initialization" whatever that means?

Anyone have any similar problems or might know whats wrong?

He's reseated the cpu, he's cleared cmos, but still nothing will come up any help would be awsome!

Thanks!

My friend is a few states away so I'm not there in person to really help or check the terribly obvious but thanks for input! Checking with him now!

When my K8T Neo FIS2R got stuck on that it was from ESD and I had to RMA. Just an FYI.
