Need some help in working out which way to have this set up.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v604/corsapete/presure.jpg
I need to conect a presure gauge to one of these outlets, ether 1 or 2.
The other outlet is go to my loop. Pump is for 1 rad and 1 block onlY. Same setup will be done 6 times in total.
Barbs will be 1/2'' and hose is masterclear.
Can you advise me so i can built thess fittings up
Thank you

Outlet 1 mate...
Used to work for a major pump manufacturer for around 9 years (in the test dept for a while too!) and although they were much bigger, that was how they set them up. Won't affect the accuracy of your readings in any way and you'll have less interruption to the flow... :fact:
So #1 for the presure gauge? That what you mean

1= gauge
2= output
3= pump outlet
for reason that no turns with gauge on #1 FOR ITS dead ENDED
I though i had made it clear but this if off the pumps outlet of flow and fill port are ment to go on the intake on pumps.
This is not being used as my fill port at all. No where have i said of my fill port.
My fill port for ref is pumpled directly into the intake on my DDC via a block Petra has in the making for me of which the out let of each block goes to that disis block.

sorry thought you was asking about fillport T hook-up is hooked on the suction side , while for pressure,flowmeters gauges will be on the output of pump side
I did think of 2 as it would have more presure as direct flow but also the water has to turn 90*....guess i can test it out with an rbx on the end of the thing

Pressure goes out in every direction regardless of where the flow is going. So keep your flow as straignt as possible and put the guage on the T.
so 1 pressure guage, 2 ouput, 3 input from pump.
Just as i had planed..cheers guys
I got bord of waiting!!!

I'm not overly impressed but i can tell my 6 pumps are running now!
This was with a DD RBX and #5 nozle
I need a res really for when i do bench tests like this. The rad is not the best thing to use nor fill but meh it does.
If i make the tubing dia smaller on any part of the pumps outlet after the gauge to the blocks inlet presure does go up! How ever seams in a closed loop it's smaller!
I also have confermed what i though is casuing all the pump noise too.
