I am just starting to get into water cooling and am wondering specifically about which waterblock would be the best for the CPU. I have heard mixed tells on this forum of some being better than others and then hear the opposite. So I would like to know which waterblocks you guys think are truly the best. Currently I am looking at the new Apogee GTX:

From what I hear it is good but some don't think it is safe.

Use the search function. There have been many long threads like this. There's even a thread dedicated to the GTX on the same page.

I don't want to raise a big argument but really, the plating WILL NOT COME OFF UNLESS YOU ARE AN IDIOT AND DO SOMETHING STUPID TO IT.
Plating is very durable stuff and there is little friction going on in that block.

and I take it your speaking from your vast experience with that WB? taking all things into consideration?

without a doubt your the first person that I've ever seen argue with themselves over the same subject and lose each and everytime.

I don't even know what that had to do with the thread.
