The proposed system is:

CPU:
E4300

[Mobo]
DFI Infinity

RAM
For the most successful overclock I want to have the best ram. At the moment I am leaning OCZ because of there great service and help. Plus they are also on DIY Street. On the other hand I have been hearing really good things about how great an overclocker the Firestix are. What do you think would serve me the best since they are both the same price?

Do you think the South Bridge needs the VC-RE? Or would it make more sense to just cool the north bridge and dont worry about the SB? On top of that I am looking at the ThermalRight Ultra-120 eXtreme for the CPU cooler now and am going to buy either the

These are my two choices please tell me what you think so I can purchase them today or this weekend :-)
Buffalo Firestix 2 GB

THE DDR sheet says they could be:
PC6400 Firestix
Use:
FSX800D2C-K2G
5.0-5-5-X @ 2.1V
Micron D9GMH (B6-3)
Elpida AG-6E-E (some)

or the

OCZ Platinum Revision 2

Use
PC6400 EL Platinum Rev 2.0
4.0-4-4-15 @ 1.9 ~ 2.1V
ProMOS

They are the same price and it all depends on which company is the best I am still leaning OCZ due to there awesome service and being on DIY Street.... ARRRG DECISIONS

Your the pros any help you give is greatly appreciated!

Go for the Firestix - with the Plat Rev 2 you'll top out around 480-490. I've used two separate sets, the first topped out at 460, second at 490, though I have heard of others getting 550.

I really appreciate your help, the other thing is if I really want I can spend $40 more and get the OCZ Nvidia SLI

The reason why I like OCZ is due to there awesome cust service. I have never dealt with buffalo so its hard for me to say how they are. On top of that I am not sure I want to spend the extra $40 since I could use that $40 towards my CPU cooler which will give me more of a performance increase than my ram. Since how much of a % increase would I get from that $40 in the Nvidia SLI over the Firestix?

Sorry for the round-a-bout circle just really cant decide.

If warranty is important to you, then by all means go for the OCZ. With the E4300 you've got a high 9x multiplier, so you're not really going to be limited by your RAM. i.e. even at 450MHz FSB, which is easily doable with the Platinum Rev 2, you'll be at 450x9 = 4.050GHz which will be really, really hard. Even 400x9 will be tough. So get the cheaper RAM and put the $ towards a better cooler. RAM speed has very little to do with actual real world performance (i.e. in games).

Update I actually got my Rev 2s to 528MHz, or DDR2-1046, at 5-5-5-15 with 2.1V. Not too shabby :)
