I have an Opty170 CCBBE 0610 DPMW
On my LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR the Opty would run Prime stable 24/7 @ 10x300 or my fav 9x334, unfortunately my DFI is dead.
I have it on my Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe now and it's a dissapointment, i have it running now at 10x292 1:1 and it's been prime stable for approx 3hrs, this ram wouldnt do 276MHz with my 3200+winny  however even with a divider and ht turned down, this thing BSODs at 2950MHz on the Asus, and will not even post at any multiplier x334, what gives, is Asus that bad? not that these results are bad, but its sooooo close to 3 :D

Should I buy another DFI? I've got my eye on the Asus A8N32-SLI, is there the dreaded 1t bug like my a8n-sli?? sorry if im asking repeat questions, but I've searched... only reason I'm interested in the A8N32 is appearance, I love the DFI, but its so gawdy...

Any insight or confirmations would be greatly appreciated.

It's very possible your mobo is holding your CPU OC back.

I had a certain CPU in an Ultra-D I was using. Had it tweaked as well as can be. Put the same CPU in my CFX-3200 I thought was dead. After getting the CFX tweaked, I'm able to run a 70mhz higher OC. Nothing else was changed. Same voltage and everything.

It was the mobo, working again at 334x9 on an A8N32 i picked up cheap on ebay.
