Just wondering which major Phase Change system is most user friendly to install and maintain, Vapochill or the Mach II GT, or even a custom lot from one of the makers on this forum.

Thanks.

I would go with a custom job because the system is built for your particular specs and the parts have been tuned for your system. As opposed to a a more generic phase system that is built for a wide variety of systems and does not work very well on any particular one. Besides that, you will have a direct contact to ask if you have any problems with the system, instead of an automated phone system with a corporation.

Are the customs more expensive or less?

Well if they are similarly built to a manufactured unit, and tuned for the same load, they are usually much, much less, to the tune of a couple hundred dollars. For the money of a new Vapochill or Mach, you can have a MUCh better systems built for you.

I agree custom built one's are better bang for the buck and some one's are a work of art imo

Most user friendly? Vapochill with best mounting and controller.

Custom.

Depends on what you want.

Disagree on both counts. From the looks of things new chilly kit puts the vapo to shame. Also the custom controllers done here are better imho as you can have it custom made to your needs. I don't see what you find so great about a vapo controller.

They would be great if they worked properly. They have lots of issues, all builders here have problems with the controllers.

mine is a tet-7100 used to control my vapoli v2000b that jin made for me in october. so far it has not had a single problem. works perfect, i was the first unit to get one of these controllers so if mine is doing good after almost six months of 24/7 use than i would say it is fine. another year or so and i'll know for sure....lol
