Most certainly not.
MDT is a cheap value RAM brand, there's no reason for them to use Micron ICs that are more expensive than others.

You can usually tell by the timings.
I haven't heard of MDT before.

So what you recomend a kit of 2x1gb ddr2 good for overclocking im thinking im g.skill 6400 pk 4-4-4-12 with Promos chips, can they go 4-4-3-5 like the HK promos?
And about the Team Elite 667Mhz are they good in overclock?
Thanks.;)

Afaik, Team Xtreem sticks are still D9GMH/GKX which would likely prove to be better than ProMos in the end.
And I can personally recommend Teamgroup.

if you're on a tight budget, ebay around, can always pickup OEM sticks with Micron chipsets.

MDT Only uses MDT Chips at the cheap modules without HS
new modules with blue HS (comes out in the newt months) have other Chips.

No they make there own chips. I had 2x512MB PC3200 of MDT, did pretty well 215MHz@2-3-2-5, 240MHz@2,5-4-3-5 on a DFI nF4.
But I don't know about there DDR2 series, there cheap though, and the have a Gamers-serie with DDR2-6400 with 4-4-4-12(the last numer I am not sure), so if that are MDT chips too, they could have some potential.

I'm using the Geil Ultra (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820144027). It's currently on sale at newegg for $83US for 2x512. The timings are 4-4-4-12. I've had it running stable as high as 1050 with the cpu at 2.8GHz timings were 5-5-5-13. I'm getting another gig the 1st of the month.

I didn't notice until now that you were running C2D :D
Is Intel as picky as 939 was about the timings? I mean... on my 939-setup I get better scores with the "tighter timing/lower MHz" than with the "slacker timing/higher MHz" ...
The best is of course "tight timing/high MHz", but maybe Intel is better at this with DDR2... I know little about DDR2, have built a couple of AM2's now, but only one is still at home :)

Yes this kit seem to be very good, now i have 3 choises , Team elite 2x1gb 667mhz arround 135€, g.skill 6400 PK 2x1gb arround 180€ and i think to be the best choise, and g.skill 6400 2x1gb NQ 165€ good choise to but with 5-5-5-x timings, i think pk is the best choise, what do you think.
Thanks to everyone and sorry for my bad english.;)

Team xtreme, Team Xtreme, Team Xtreme. I can't emphasize this enough. I'm beating myself up right now for not purchasing team xtreme when it was still 93 bucks 1gb kit :( . My friend's got a kit of it, and he can get high clocks with Cl4 timings. You won't regret it.
