2.4C, Malaysia,Costa Rica or Philippines?

Im a total Intel n00b and have been trying to get as much info as I can before purchasing a new 2.4C..... Are there different steppings for the 2.4C that I should be aware of? Also, what country are producing the best chips? I heard Costa Rica is hit or miss, Malaysia is more consistent and avoid the Philippines, are there any truth to these or the country of origin does not matter... thanks....

my 2.4c costa rica is doing pretty good... but then again my mobo cant go past 250fsb =)

My costa rica kicks ass @ 300FSB :D 3.6Ghz :thumbsup:

my maylay 2.6c is at 3.6

For air cooling
Costa Rica 2.4C is only able to get to 258 FSB stable. (3.1Ghz or so)
Have 2.4B Costa Rica that goes to 3.4Ghz easy with same config though.
I think I got average chip on 2.4C... gonna go Fry's and try 2.6 or 2.8c.

Thanks guys... I think Im gonna pick a malaysian one...... Really want to get one from the Philippines cos Im filipino but if its gonna hinder my overclocking results, Ill be patriotic another day.........

me got 2.4c malaysia :)
