I've got this Sanyo rotary compressor sitting in a 5500W heat-pump that I got for free. I don't know whether it works or not, but I need some info on it anyhow. Also, I'm wondering about how I should wire this thing.
The model number is: C-6RB137H13AA.
Also, the connections on the top look like this (check the attachment). Yes, I know it looks like a sad Hitler.
I can post a pic tomorrow.

Well you wont find any info on sanyo's website which is absolute crap so you might not get too many helpful responses here. Maybe send sanyo an email or give them a call and ask.

Yeah, you're probably right. But, can anyone tell me how to wire it? It's not 3-phase is it?

Can you tell me all the resistances between these 3 connections?

I can check with my multimeter tomorrow.

If this compressor is out of a heatpump it will be a Scroll or a Recip, it will be 240v and most likely 1 Phase. Can u post some pics of it and its nameplate?

Yeah, I know it's not 3-phase (dunno why I wrote that :P).
As you can see, I've now uploaded some pics. Can someone tell me what that little, round thing with the black wires is?
Also, still need some info on the wiring.

thermal over load goes where rc on left of pic
poles on right should be marked R=run S=start C=common

Thanks Walt! But, I'm a tad bad at this when it comes to capacitors. How high capacitance do you think I need, and, (lol) how should I wire it to the compressor?
Oh yeah, I remembered to measure the resistance, as 404power requested
S(W)-R: 1,5 Ohm
S(W)-C(T): 1,5 Ohm
C(T)-R: 1,5 Ohm

hereing a wiring diagram for single phase cover all 3 types ,just use correct part for your compressor. if single stage S to C should be different than R to C are you sure this is single stage power
Do you have plastic cap to cover an possibly hold down overload with black wires or is their a way to screw it down,

You do need electrial data for compressor before proceeding.
That looks like a AC condensor show plate on its cover, should have electrical data

Thats not a heatpump, thats a ductless split (A/C) so knowing that it would be a Rotary.

Well, I'm sorry, but in Norway they're called heatpumps :P Which basicly is using the condenser indoors and the evap outdoors. It's also reversible, so it can be used as an AC in the summer.

Yes it is a heat pump,I think I can see the revesing valve, and they come in rotary and scroll.

wires should be connected like this

THANK YOU! :D
How big capacitance do you think I need on the capacitor?
